Shant joined Sandhill in 2011 and has primarily served the firm as its Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Shant is responsible for building and implementing all of the firm’s operating systems as well as IT infrastructure. In 2022, he was named Co-Managing Partner at Sandhill, where he works to carry out the firm’s strategic vision and oversee all day-to-day operations.

Having been elected to the TD Ameritrade Operations Panel, Shant has previously worked alongside a group of independent investment advisors to advise TD Ameritrade Institutional on issues relevant to their experience with TD Ameritrade’s service, technology, and products. In addition, Shant is certified in multiple Microsoft applications and specializes in business process optimization.

Shant earned a B.A. in Business Management from the Walsh College of Accountancy and Business in 2010.

Shant is an ardent sports fan and an avid golfer. Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, he still cheers on his hometown Lions—although in recent years, he has adopted the Bills as his local rooting interest. Outside of the office, Shant enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
