Chris joined Sandhill as Vice President in 2011 and was later named Partner in 2016. Along with managing assets of individual clients, families, trusts, and corporations, Chris oversees Sandhill’s Qualified Retirement Plan business, which consists of plans covering more than 3,000 employees. He has earned both his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification.
Chris graduated magna cum laude from SUNY Buffalo in 2003 with degrees in Accounting and Finance. He began his career at Lumsden & McCormick, LLP, a regional accounting firm, where he serviced both tax and audit clients in industries such as manufacturing, service, medical and not-for-profit. In 2007, he joined Lumsden & McCormick Financial Services, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the CPA firm, where he was responsible for both individual clients and qualified retirement plans.
Chris is the President of the Financial Planning Counselors of Western New York and serves on the school board of St. Gregory the Great School. He has coached youth sports in Clarence and at St. Gregory the Great School for a number of years. Chris resides in Clarence Center with his wife, Laura, and four children, Carter, Owen, Hudson, and Sawyer.
