Steve became Sandhill’s Vice President of Business Development in March 2013—a role he has held for over a decade. Drawing on nearly 30 years of investment industry experience, Steve is well-equipped to serve the needs of his clients. His knowledge of investment strategies and knack for maintaining client relationships have helped him to succeed as an Investment Advisor.
Steve earned his B.A. from Hamilton College before completing the Executive Securities Program at the Securities Industry Institute at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. After beginning his career as an Account Executive at Eppler, Guerin & Turner in Dallas, T.X., Steve also spent time at both Prudential-Bache Securities and Shearson Lehman Brothers until accepting a Managing Broker position with Southwest Securities.
Today, Steve remains active in both the Buffalo, N.Y. and Minneapolis, M.N. communities. He is a sponsor of the Buffalo Fellowship of Christian Athletes and remains involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Hockey ministry in Alexandria, M.N.
Steve is celebrating over 35 years of marriage to his wife, Tamara, and enjoys spending time with his three grown sons, his three daughters-in-law, and his six grandchildren. When not spending time with his family, you can find him fishing, working at his family’s apple orchard, and cheering on his beloved Sabres and Bills.
