Tim joined Sandhill in January 2025 as an Equity Analyst. Leveraging his passion for fundamental investment research and the study of business models with his love for portfolio management, Tim plays a key role in optimizing the composition of our proprietary research strategies to generate exceptional risk-adjusted returns for our clients.

After graduating from Miami University (OH) in 2016, Tim began his professional career as a buy-side analyst with Diamond Hill Capital Management—a nationally recognized asset manager deploying an active, fundamental approach to investment research. Tim spent over eight years with the firm and was responsible for coverage across the consumer space supporting domestic equities, international equities, long/short, and fixed income products. During his time with Diamond Hill, Tim earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder designation in 2018.

A Western New York native, Tim is a graduate of Canisius High School in Buffalo and lives in the Southtowns. Outside of the office, Tim enjoys fly fishing in local streams and golfing.
