Larry joined the Sandhill team in June 2008 as a Partner. Possessing nearly three decades of experience managing client portfolios, Larry is adept at understanding the sophisticated financial needs of his clients. He is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.

A 1978 graduate of Niagara University, Larry earned his B.B.A. in Accounting and graduated magna cum laude. He worked at Main Hurdman CPAs from 1978 to 1982 before founding Stolzenburg, Federspiel & Pfeifer, CPAs in 1983, where he worked as the firm’s Managing Partner until 2003. Additionally, Larry founded Ellis Group, Inc., a business valuation firm, in 1996 and oversaw the firm until 2006.

Active in the local community, Larry has spent time serving on the Board of Directors for Christian Central Academy and Bethanie Mission of Haiti.

Larry has been married to his childhood sweetheart, Cherie, since 1980. Larry and Cherie have two daughters and five grandsons. For relaxation, Larry enjoys hiking and building furniture.
