Jed joined the Sandhill team in December 2023 as an Associate Equity Analyst. Coupling his passion for investment research with his love for portfolio management, Jed plays a key role in optimizing the overall composition of our proprietary research strategies. To expand on his equity research skills and broaden his knowledge of investment valuation, he successfully earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation in 2023.

Prior to joining Sandhill, Jed worked as an Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Specialist for Wells Fargo’s ultra-high-net-worth investment management team. In his role, he provided customized wealth management solutions for wealthy individuals and their families. Earlier in his career, Jed also gained valuable experience in equity analysis and financial planning. Prior to Wells Fargo, Jed assisted in actively managing a $350M equity portfolio at a $1.5B RIA.

Growing up in Caledonia, N.Y., Jed attended the Aquinas Institute of Rochester, where he was a two-sport athlete as part of the school’s baseball and basketball teams. After high school, he moved on to Binghamton University, where he graduated in 2014 with his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. While at Binghamton, Jed’s athletic prowess continued to shine as a four-year member of the school’s Division I baseball program. Several years after completing his undergraduate degree, Jed earned his MBA in Finance from Rutgers University in 2021.

Outside of the office, Jed serves as an Executive Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves’ Echo Co. 2D Battalion 25th Marine Regiment headquartered in Harrisburg, P.A. He currently resides in Riga, N.Y. with his wife, Maribeth, and two young sons.
