Partner, Senior Equity Analyst

Mark joined Sandhill in 2013 and was named Partner in 2018. In his current role as Senior Equity Analyst, Mark is a key contributor to the firm’s in-house Research team. He plays an integral role in managing Sandhill’s equity and fixed income products. Through active management and fundamental analysis, Mark and his colleagues strive to achieve best-in-class risk-adjusted returns.

Prior to joining Sandhill, Mark spent three years working for Citigroup’s Institutional Clients Group, where he supported sales and trading of equities and credit derivatives. He previously attended St. Bonaventure University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance in 2009 and his MBA in 2010. While at St. Bonaventure, Mark led the university’s student-run investment fund known as Students in Money Management (SIMM), where he developed a strong interest in investment management, equity research, and markets.

In 2014, Mark earned his CFA® charterholder designation. He currently serves on the Board of CFA Society of Buffalo and is responsible for handling employer outreach.

A Western New York native, Mark is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute in Kenmore. He currently resides in the city of Buffalo.
